Hah, once I saw you had subscribed to my comic, and that you had a LEGO minifig for your avatar, I had to see if you had a brick comic!

I actually think that so far, your concept is highly original. I like the idea of having several "Deaths" under a leader, rather than just one.

Is that Death with a brown hat supposed to be Australian? ;)

I have a couple things I see here that I'd like to warn you about before you go and make more comics.

First off, depending on the background, it could get incredibly difficult to read white letters by themselves. You might consider using contrasting speech bubbles (or at least, "speech boxes!")

Just something behind the letters to make sure they stand out would be a good practice.

Also, I've noticed that this picture is taken from slightly above your characters.

This camera angle looks to me like the very common semi-aerial shot that I see a lot in brick comics. I'm warning you now, it gets very boring very fast.

Try to avoid it, and instead use more shots from closer to the eye-level of your minifigs. If you can't do this because you don't have a vertical background, you can always use a piece of plain paper or cloth as a background.

Also, be careful with your lighting. You should try not to use your camera flash if it can be avoided. (It looks like you might have used the flash in this picture.)

If possible, try to get 1 or two lamps set up, that you can use as consistent light-sources for shooting your comic.

That's my two cents.

Anyway, I'd like to see where this goes. Do you have a weekly update schedule? (Like "every Monday" or something?)Or do you just update "whenever?"
(A schedule is always better, by the way!)
